Walk to, or park your car at the Charlottetown Visitor Centre. Explore the hidden nooks and crannies of the city by bicycle. Get lost in the sea of colourful architecture that makes up the city. Or, adventure onto the traffic-free Confederation Trail. After returning your bicycle, your day will end with a nice cold glass of Gahan Beer from PEI’s only microbrewery (or beverage of equivalent value or less.)

Trails & Tails

Cycle ‘n Sea

GUIDED GROUP TOURS

Biking the Confederation Trail
The Confederation Trail was developed on over 300 kilometres of abandoned railway lines and offers unlimited opportunities for nature lovers, artists, historians, photographers, berry pickers, bird watchers and anyone looking for a nice quiet getaway. Your guided tour begins in the small village of Morell and travels seven miles along St. Peter’s Bay before arriving at your final destination, the community of St. Peter’s.

Biking in PEI National Park
Starting in the picturesque fishing village of North Rustico, we’ll cycle along PEI National Park’s beautiful North Shore to Green Gables, home of fabled Anne Shirley. We’ll pedal a quiet road on a wide paved shoulder a stone’s throw from the sea, with just enough hills to make you appreciate a picnic snack. Along the way, learn about the wreck of the Marco Polo, the causes of spectacular cliff erosion, and the lifestyle of the fishing and farming community who have made this their home for centuries.
